My video analysis of PLUG Power a major player in green hydrogen. The company has been around since 1999 and has a very interesting backstory. More recently it was the subject of a dramatic 'pump & dump' with the stock rising to an ATH of $76 before falling back to $12. A recent large order for an electrolyzer has seen the stock on the move. However, traders and investors who use volume-price analysis will have seen the buying come before this positive news was announced, which is one reason PLUG is our vpa chart of the week.

Plug Power Inc. (PLUG) is a leading player in the hydrogen fuel cell industry. The company designs and manufactures hydrogen fuel cell systems for electric mobility and stationary power. Strong Bullish Move in SPY: How Much Longer Will It Last?
The SPY (SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust) has delivered a strong bullish move recently. This reflects broad market optimism. Tech and growth sectors lead. But questions arise—how much longer can it sustain? Volume price analysis (VPA) provides clues. High volume continuation signals strength. Divergence warns of potential exhaustion.
SPY has recently regained its bullish momentum and is over the volume point of control on the weekly chart. However, the volume does appear somewhat light as it tries to regain its all-time high. This week's close is key.
VPA Insights on the Current Rally
SPY rallies on positive sentiment. Volume price analysis reveals conviction:
Rising prices with increasing volume = sustained buying. Trend likely to continue short-term.
Low volume pullbacks = healthy corrections—buying opportunities.
Watch for divergence: New highs on falling volume = distribution. Professionals selling into strength.
Quantum Trend Monitor on NinjaTrader or TradingView aligns bullish. This supports holding longs. But extremes approach—caution needed.

There were several reasons to focus on the Aussie dollar in the London forex trading session. First was the overnight impact of the RBA decision and statement, and second and equally important the ongoing problems in Chile with copper production affecting supply for the red metal. There was also a nice trade on the USD/CHF with the Swiss franc rising strongly on the faster timeframes and it w

Day Trading Stocks and Index Futures Using Volume Price Analysis
Day trading stocks and index futures demands precision. Volume price analysis (VPA) provides it. It combines price action with trading volume. This reveals true market intent. High volume on moves shows conviction. Low volume warns of weakness.
Applying VPA to Stocks and Futures
In stocks, VPA spots accumulation before breakouts. For index futures like ES or YM, watch volume spikes at key levels. Quantum indicators enhance this on NinjaTrader. The Accumulation/Distribution tool highlights building phases. Trend Monitor keeps you in winning trades longer.
Benefits for Intraday Traders
VPA reduces noise on fast charts. It validates entries and exits. Anna Coulling's methodology works across markets. Combine with support/resistance for tighter stops. Quantum tools make day trading stocks and futures more consistent and confident.
This approach turns intraday volatility into an opportunity. Start applying VPA today for better results.

In the second part of the webinar, we take a closer look at how to trade stocks and in particular how to select those with liquidity which will allow you as a day trader to buy and sell quickly. Many smaller stocks and pink sheets are relatively illiquid and so selling quickly can be an issue. Here we use some of the excellent free scanning tools available to scan for stocks to trade using a variety of criteria.

In the first part of the webinar we take a closer look at the current market narrative for inflation, what it is, what the metrics are and why it is important. With this item of fundamental news now rising to the top of the ranking ladder, risk markets such as equities remain cautious and this was the flavor across the US indices and for stocks in this trading session. On the daily timeframes, all three indices of the Dow, the Nasdaq100 and the S&P 500 are all trading in narrow ranges and looking fragile with indecisive candles signaling this clearly. Intraday it is much the same story with yen buying evident along with the US dollar.

How to Select Stocks for Day Trading and Trading Index Futures Using Volume Price Analysis
Volume price analysis (VPA) is a powerful method for selecting stocks and trading index futures. It focuses on volume alongside price action. This reveals true market intent. High volume on moves shows conviction. Low volume warns of weakness. Use VPA to identify high-probability day-trading setups. In the US trading session, we take another step along the road in explained how to select and day trade stocks using volume price analysis, along with trading index futures and commodities.
Selecting Stocks for Day Trading with VPA
Day trading stocks requires liquid, volatile names. Start with scanners:
Volume Filter: High relative volume (2x average)—shows participation.
Price Range: $20-100 for decent tick value.
VPA Signals: Look for accumulation—rising volume at lows. Avoid distribution—high volume at highs with failing price.
Use RadarScreen on TradeStation or scanners on NinjaTrader. Quantum Accumulation/Distribution indicator highlights building phases. Focus on strong sectors (e.g., tech during rallies).
Trading Index Futures...
