Stock analysis using the volume point of control & accumulation & distribution indicators

Stock analysis using the volume point of control & accumulation & distribution indicators

In this video, David & I cover using the Quantumtrading support & resistance indicators for stocks such as Fate Therapeutics, Apple & Tesla. The indicators in question are the volume point of control which marks out key levels in terms of volume and the price-based accumulation and distribution indicator. This indicator is unique in that once the indicator marks a level it will thicken each time that level is tested and holds. What this does for the trader and investor is give a clear visual picture of the relative strength of any significant level. And when the accumulation & distribution combines with the volume point of control we know the level is of supreme importance as we can see on the monthly chart for FATE. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEQL_K1gCnQ Charts courtesy of Ninjatrader. How to trade the futures markets using the Quantum Trading indicators

Another excellent session as the US markets get underway with risk on returning with the primary indices all climbing and driven by a currency pact between the US and China. Focus on the session was on the YM emini, with the Yen index falling strongly and reflecting this sentiment. The yen was sold strongly on the currency strength indicator, the Yen index, and on the currency future of the 6J JPY/USD all reinforcing the picture and offering a low risk trading opportunity. https://youtu.be/xbjxKwPsJeA...

A masterclass in trading forex using the Quantum Trading indicators and volume price analysis

This morning's forex trading session was a masterclass in trading, combining every aspect in one powerful lesson. The GBP/JPY provided a perfect example, starting with the base methodology of volume price analysis as the move higher came to a temporary halt in the faster timeframes and duly reflected on across the currency dashboard in terms of the currency strength indicator, the currency matrix, the currency array and finally the currency heatmap. Multiple timeframes are a key aspect coupled with support and resistance, the volume point of control and of course related markets in terms of risk sentiment. The currency indices too also play a pivotal role in identifying the intraday moves of the three major currencies of the US dollar, the Japanese yen and the euro in all timeframes. https://youtu.be/HRgkvTJjJRY...

Choose your currency pair with care!

Choose your currency pair with care!

https://youtu.be/xTPs_2Ws7aQ In this video we highlight the currency strength indicator and the currency array indicator for NinjaTrader, and the importance of understanding universal flow in the market. Here we see strong buying for the British pound and the euro which is reflected in the charts, but is sentiment for the two currencies universal across the complex, and this is where the currency array indicator steps in to help. In the ranking ladder to for the currency array we can see sentiment for the GBP is universal with strong buying in all the pairs. For the euro this is not the case and highlighting the key point, which is to choose your currency pairs with care. Trading against the universal market sentiment is fine, as long as are aware that this is indeed the case. Most forex traders are not, and so assume the market is universally bullish or bearish on the currency which is often not the case at all!!...
