Anna & David Coulling | Creators of volume price analysis trading

David & Anna Coulling have been involved in the financial markets for almost 30 years, as traders and investors. They are the founders and owners of Quantum Trading.

Their trading careers began in the futures market in the early days, before the internet. Accordingly, this meant calling the broker, who in turn spoke to the exchange floor to execute and fill orders. Certainly, a stressful exercise made worse by the general unreliability of the technology of the day.

Since then, as a trading couple, they have traded virtually every market and instrument. They focus on index futures and forex, with equities primarily for longer-term investment.

As independent traders, they were fortunate to have started their journey using volume. This approach has provided the foundation for their trading, which is based on the volume price analysis methodology. In addition, this is supported by an array of trading tools and indicators.

Their approach to the market is unique. They trade using a three-dimensional view, based on technical, fundamental and relational analysis. This approach, when combined with price action and candlestick patterns and underpinned by volume-price analysis, has given them a deep and detailed knowledge of the forces that drive the financial markets. Naturally, this is then reflected in the underlying market sentiment.

Finally, of course, utilising volume and price is, of course, nothing new. It was the preferred method of many of the great, iconic traders of the past - Richard Wyckoff and Richard Ney, to name just two.

However, for the past fifteen years, Anna and David have shared their knowledge and expertise with others through their books, courses and livestream events. More recently, as Quantum Trading, they launched a unique range of trading indicators to help fellow traders mirror their success, particularly for day traders keen to add tick charts to their trading arsenal.

All these books reflect Anna’s passionate desire to ensure traders have access to the best possible education and based on real trading experience, from someone who has been there, done it, and succeeded.
